At Aurora Hair Lab, we believe exceptional hair care begins with exceptional ingredients. Our products are thoughtfully formulated with clean, natural and organic ingredients to care for your hair and scalp — while bringing intention, quality, and a little luxury to your everyday routine.
Our Story
Aurora Hair Lab began with a simple idea from my mother.
As a hairstylist, I spent my days caring for my clients’ hair and hearing firsthand about the challenges they experienced with the products already on the market. My mom suggested sending Black Cold-Pressed Jamaican Castor Oil from home for me to offer to my clients.
That small idea planted the seed for something much bigger.
As I listened to my clients — their concerns, what wasn’t working, and what they wished they could find — we began laying the groundwork for a hair care line of our own. We wanted products made with ingredients we could feel good about, without sacrificing the performance our hair deserves.
Not long after, we learned that my mom had cancer.
But we kept going.
Aurora Hair Lab officially launched in June 2024 and we lost her July 2024.
Launching during one of the most difficult moments of my life wasn’t how I imagined this journey beginning. But continuing what we started together became a way of honoring where it all began.
Aurora Hair Lab carries that with it today — the love, the lessons, the resilience, and a mother’s idea that became something greater.
